A secret Gem in the heart of North Spokane, the Canaan Buffet offers a wide variety of Asian foods.As a Buffet, you have to learn what to get and what to avoid, but the Sushi is fantastic, along with one of the few Asian Restaurants that offer Baozi. The lunch prices cannot be beat, the area is clean, and the service is fantastic. Read the signs carefully!

Decent food but the Christian music blaring over the dining room was a very weird vibe for a Chinese buffet. Maybe consider a new music genre?

Apparently the new management needs a lesson in manners. Used to be our favorite place but the food was dry and lacked flavor and the options have gone down hill. They will not get my money again. 45 mins and still waiting to be offered a refill. When I attempted to report the rude hostess i was pretty much told oh well. So oh well ill spend my money elsewhere.

Chinese buffet, plus American options and sushi bar. Tons of fresh food, all for the price of a fast-food dinner.

Oh boy. How do I describe this place? It's like a divorced trucker eating by himself trying to fight off tears in restaurant form. The best thing about this place is that big lots is next door. The food was bad.

Love the Canaan Buffet. Have been enjoying eating at this buffet off and on for the past six years. Great selection and variety of food. Always tasty and hot. Great service. Friendly and courteous servers. Clean and inviting environment. Love the new decor. Thank you Canaan for supporting our Veterans and the Christian community.

The beauty of the house is attractive. It has a nice view. It is noted that the seat was carefully designed to be a comfortable design. It is a spacious and delightful dining hobby. The hospitality is good. The place where the food is cooked is also very attractive. The type and quantity of food is unique. Delicious desserts that are used after meals are also well organized and well-liked. The food and the delicious desserts are delicious. God bless them. It is best if you do not come to this delicious food restaurant with its exceptional beauty and without visiting it. As for me, I am happy to see what I have seen. There is enough space in the parking lot to worry about. I am sure it will be a good time for you.

The food was good, hot and plentiful. The service at the cashier and the server was greatly lacking. We won't be going back!

This buffet is delightful. The owner is usually there on Sundays and she's very kind. I enjoy the teppanyaki and the friendly service whenever I bring friends or family here for lunch.

This was the first time my family and I have went here and itll be the last. The meat that was out for their stir fry bar was oxidized. The fish on top of the sushi was hard from sitting out to long, and the food in the buffet warming pans were cold. Other than the food issues there customer services was good and dining room clean. Unfortunately myself and two of my kids got sick from eating here. We were quit sad since we moved to area and are trying to find a good Chinese restaurant.

We came for dinner, and holy cow man. Coming from the South, I've been hankering for a good buffet since we moved. This is the BEST buffet I have ever eaten. All the food has quality and tastes fresh. The tiramisu cakes tasted like coffee, the green beans were actually grilled, the sushi was huge and delicious. It's absolutely worth the price for the quality. We're definitely coming back for seconds. And thirds. Probably fourths!

As always, it was excellent! I love this place so much Haha. It's because there's too many choices, with vegetables, on trays, salad bar, sushis, etc.. Hmmm. So goo!!!! The best Chinese buffet in North West.

Food was tasty and fresh as always. The new tables and chairs look great. Service was excellent. Bathrooms could use a little maintenance but overall experience was good.

Amazing food! Definitely the best Chinese buffet in town!!! My family loves it. Fresh food, fruit and ice cream! Also has a very beautiful setting and clean environment. All the staff is super polite to!

Food always tastes old like it's been sitting there and their prices are higher then other places and it always take awhile for someone to notice you at the register when your trying to pay to get seated. I've tried them three times in a years span hoping it was just an off day and it has been the same every single time.

Lots of different food choices. Awesome dessert bar too. Sushi looked like it was fresh if you like that kinda thing. A bit too spendy for me to frequent often. Nice indoor pond with Huge goldfish.

I’m sorry this place has been going down hill. The food is getting to be sub par. The decor is suffering heavily. Service is defiantly lacking. I’m sorry I used to like it but more and more I am going to be passing on. Especially for the price and the food. I’m not one to write reviews normally unless things are just flat out good or bad and sorry but it’s getting bad.

Well it is nice and clean. Service was very lacking. And the much of the food was cold well below 140. And they quality of the food just was not good. Maybe if we had been there earlier in the evening it would have been better. The Mongolian grill station has really no sauces to speak of. I really doubt we will come back.

Excellent food for a reasonable price, fresh made sushi included, all you can eat. Highly recommended!

Delicious! Many fresh, and a couple of deep fried, items on the buffet plus a salad bar and fresh fruits and veggies as well as desserts. Lots of common dishes such as beef and broccoli, peanut chicken, sweet and sour chicken, pepper steak, dumplings, egg flower soup, BBQ pork and much more. Friendly and courteous staff who refill your drinks promptly and always have a smile and a friendly greeting.

A little overpriced. 20$ for dinner per person. But otherwise great food.

This restaurant (buffet) is my favorite out of all Spokane. The food selection is diverse, delicious, and well maintained. Hot food is hot, cold food is cold. I haven't seen any massive amounts of cross contamination; very little, and generally only by the salad dressings side. The place is very clean, as are the restrooms, the music is nice, and the atmosphere is very comforting. Prices are good to boot, too. I've gone here quite a bit with friends and it has never been very crowded. Definitely a great choice if you're in the mood for a buffet. Way better than Golden Corral. Everything I've said in this review is the complete opposite for Golden Corral, truthfully.

Strangely, I'm not dead.But I should be. Everything in the place smells and tastes like it was lovingly sprayed with MSG from an old Windex bottle. I thought: they can't screw up vegetables or rice. But I was wrong. Don't worry about getting sick from the sushi there's no fish in it. Just mayonnaise. Everything that was supposed to be cold was warm and everything that was supposed to be hot was room temperature. Apparently 'billies from Idee-ho think it's good cooking. Run away!

Some of the food tasted old like it had been out for a long time (tasted stale). Also there was a lack of labels so there were some dishes I was curious about but didn't try because I didn't know what they were. Despite all this it did have one redeeming quality the kids loved the coy pond!! I might go back at a different time. Maybe right when it opens and try again.

Excellent selection of Asian/Chinese buffet foods. Quality is really great. Includes sushi bar and a Mongolian Grill for dinner. Price is a little higher than I would expect but still acceptable.

Food was pretty good. a little tip don't come to late in the evening

We had a good experience as usally. This time the grill in the back wasn't as hot as I would have liked. The buffet is clean, tables are well placed, and food was good otherwise. The place is much better then the China Buffet for all you can eat dining.

We love the food. I always end up eating too much because it's so good. The waiter and waitress' are always amazing and the owner is really respectful to us everytime we visit!

Not too many choices and they are almost always out of alot of the food. Some of the workers aren't too nice, and some of the food isnt very good. But they do have a really pretty fountain and koi fish and now some birds. I do like some of there food

This buffet is great! The food is actually made there and it shows. There is a wide selection. You won't be able to try everything. They also have nice sushi.

We've had our fingers crossed for the last 12hrs that we didn't get sick and we made it!* Some of the crab tasted too fishy, the carrot cakes were not dense, the ice cream was a disaster and fingerprints all over the glass. There seemed to be too much food to be able to keep the quality up.Positives, the fish pond and waterfall and birds were really cool, so were the decorative windows. I've never had pork stuffed dumplings and they were delicious!*hmm, I take that back, something isn't right in my belly

Always my favorite! Best buffet in Spokane. Many gluten-free and vegan options. Sushi bar with vegan rolls, salad bar, and Mongolian grill available. I bring my own gluten-free soy sauce to be able to enjoy the rice and rice noodle dishes. Large dessert selection including fruit and ice creams.

The food here is always good, large selection and they even have a Mongolian grill in the back and a small selection of sushi.

Good food, service, and atmosphere. Someone started blasting Christian music over the speakers at random, but other than that, it was great. Nobody really seemed bothered by it, either. Probably just a prank.

Don't get me wrong the food is great. Most of the staff is also. Not the waiter most unfriendly person and had to constantly flag down for refill of tea and napkins. When we said please or thank you he stuck his nose up and walked away. He won't get a tip that way. Ladies room needs to be cleaned.

We went shortly after opening last week and we're very pleased with the variety. I had sushi, soup, coconut chicken, fresh kiwi and so much more!! I loved it for the price. Will be back.

Nice and friendly staff in the place with answers that you need. Wonderful relaxing interior. Booths are comfy and have cork carvings in the glass on each booth. As you come to the booth in front. The friendly and colorful Koi rise from the pond to say Hello. Huge variety of food there. Chinese Korean and other types of Asian Cuisine. Three different types of Mole sauce you can chose from to cover rice and mushrooms or anything you want on it. Lot of American comfort food too. There is food for anyone there. And all hot fresh and yummy. As the staff replaces pans as needed. Salad bar to large tasty choices for all. Last but not least is a huge amount of desserts if you are still hungry..
